PEO
PEO services
A PEO becomes the co-employer of your staff and absorbs the administrative half of employing people. You keep the work, the people and the decisions. We take the part that produces no revenue no matter how well it is done.
What co-employment actually means
In a co-employment arrangement, the PEO becomes the employer of record for administrative purposes, covering payroll, employment tax filing, benefits administration and compliance, while you retain full control over hiring, direction, and the work itself.
It is not outsourcing your team. Your people still work for you, do what you ask, and answer to your managers. What changes is who carries the paperwork and the compliance exposure that comes with it.
What it covers
- Payroll and employment tax. Processed and filed.
- Benefits administration. Including access to plans that are usually out of reach at small headcounts.
- Employment compliance. Kept current as rules change, rather than discovered during an audit.
- HR administration. Onboarding, records and the documentation nobody has time for.
When a PEO stops making sense
There is a size at which bringing this in-house becomes cheaper than paying for it, usually when the headcount justifies a dedicated HR function. We will tell you when you are approaching it rather than waiting for you to work it out.

Questions people ask about peo services.
What does a PEO actually do?
A PEO becomes the co-employer of your staff and takes on the administrative side of employment, covering payroll, benefits administration and employment compliance, while you keep full control of the work and the people. It exists because that administrative load grows with every hire and produces no revenue however well it is handled.
Is a PEO the same as outsourcing HR?
No. Outsourced HR is a vendor performing tasks for you. A PEO becomes a legal co-employer and shares the employment liability that comes with that, which is why a PEO can offer benefits and carry compliance exposure a vendor cannot.
Do I lose control of my employees with a PEO?
No. You keep hiring, firing, direction and day-to-day management. The PEO role is administrative, and your people continue to work for your business under your supervision.
How much does a PEO cost?
Pricing is typically a percentage of payroll or a per-employee fee, and it makes sense when it costs less than the administrative time and compliance risk it removes. We would rather run that comparison honestly with you than sell you something you will outgrow next year.
