Cookie and Tracking Notice
What runs in your browser when you visit, why, and how to change your mind at any time.
This Cookie and Tracking Notice explains how Your Future Career LLC, Your Future Nexus LLC, and Your Future Care use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on yourfuturecareer.vip, jobboard.yourfuturecareer.vip, YourFutureNexus.vip, and the Care pages (the "Sites"). It supplements our US Privacy Policy (YFC-PRIV-1.0).
1. What these technologies are
- Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser.
- Local storage and session storage are browser storage areas that hold data on your device. Session storage clears when you close the tab; local storage persists until cleared.
- IndexedDB is browser database storage used by some web apps to keep data available offline.
- Tags and scripts are code on a page that sends information about your visit to a service provider.
2. Categories we use
We use only 2 categories:
- Strictly necessary. Required to run the Sites, keep them secure, keep you signed in, process forms, and remember your privacy choices. These are always on because the Sites do not work without them.
- Analytics. Help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Sites so we can improve them. These run only if you allow them.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, social media pixels, cross-site tracking, session replay, or fingerprinting technologies. We do not sell or share information collected by these technologies.
3. Technologies on the Sites
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| yfc_consent | Your Future (first party) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choices and GPC status | Cookie or local storage | 12 months |
| Firebase Authentication storage (for example, firebase:authUser:*, firebaseLocalStorageDb) | Google Firebase (first-party context) | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the job board or employer account | Local storage and IndexedDB | Until you sign out or clear storage |
| Firestore and Firebase app storage (for example, firestore_* keys, firebase-heartbeat-database) | Google Firebase | Strictly necessary | Saves form submissions, caches data, and supports app health checks | IndexedDB and local storage | Until cleared |
| Preference keys (for example, theme, language, dismissed notices, saved filters) | Your Future (first party) | Strictly necessary | Remembers display and form preferences you set | Local storage | Until you clear storage |
| Calendly storage | Calendly (embedded scheduler) | Strictly necessary for booking | Runs the embedded scheduling widget when you book a call | Local storage and cookies set by Calendly within the embed | Set by Calendly |

Server logs on our hosting provider record IP address, request time, and browser type for security. They are kept for up to 12 months.
4. Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DBBT4H6W1C) as a service provider to measure site use in aggregate.
- Consent first. Analytics storage stays off until you click "Accept" or turn on analytics in Settings.
- Configured for privacy. Google Signals is off. Advertising personalization and ad features are off. Analytics data is not linked to Google Ads or used for advertising. Granular location and device data collection is limited.
- IP addresses. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google uses the IP address only briefly to derive approximate location (country, region, city) and then discards it.
- Retention. Event-level and user-level data is kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Form events. When you submit a form, we record that a form was submitted (for example, a "generate_lead" event) without sending the content of the form, your name, email, phone, or any health information to Google Analytics.
- Care pages. Analytics on Care pages never captures health information, and Care inquiry form content is never sent to analytics.
- Opt out tools. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising in every state, and we also keep analytics off unless you later turn it on yourself in Settings after we tell you GPC is on. Our Settings panel displays "Opt-Out Request Honored" when we detect GPC. You do not need to do anything else. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
6. How to manage your choices
- Cookie banner. Choose Accept, Reject non-essential, or Settings on your first visit.
- Change your mind. Click "Cookie Settings" or "Your Privacy Choices" in the footer of any page at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection and deletes our analytics cookies from your browser.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop sign-in or forms from working.
- Do Not Sell or Share. Our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link records your opt-out (we do not sell or share).
Your choices apply to the browser and device you use. If you use several browsers or devices, set your choice on each one.
7. Retention
Analytics cookies and analytics data: 14 months. Consent record: 12 months, after which we ask again. Strictly necessary storage: as stated in Section 3.
8. Changes and contact
We update this Notice when we add or change technologies, and we ask for consent again before any new non-essential technology runs. Questions: Privacy Officer, Your Future Career LLC, 210 N Main St, Oshkosh, WI 54901; info@yourfuturecareer.vip; (920) 383-1992.
